Emma Stone
Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean
Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6, 1988.
She is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the CEO and founder of the
contracting company Stone Contracting. She has Swedish and British Isles
origins. Stone started acting in her early years as a Valley Youth Theatre
member in Phoenix, Arizona. She made her stage debut in Kenneth Grahame's
"The Wind in the Willows." Stone was a part of numerous productions
during her early teens until, at the age of fifteen, she decided that she
wanted to pursue acting as a profession. Officially, she designed a PowerPoint
presentation that was backed by Madonna's "Hollywood" and titled
"Project Hollywood", to convince her parents to allow her to leave
school and move to Los Angeles. After the presentation was accepted by the
parents, she and her mother relocated to LA. She continued to study at home,
while auditioning. Her TV debut came when she was cast as Laurie Partridge on
the VH1 reality/talent show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004). The show
resulted in a number of small TV roles over the years. Her debut film was Jules
in Superbad (2007) and after a string impressive performances, her lead role as
Olive in Easy A (2010) established her as a major star. The school she attended
was Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona. Although she's known as an
redhead, her true hair shade is blonde. Judd Apatow was the one who suggested
she change her natural hair shade to Superbad (2007). It was so well-received
that she decided to keep it. She persuaded her parents to let her move to
Hollywood when she turned 15 by presenting an PowerPoint presentation that was
appropriately titled Project Hollywood. She started her journey into acting at
the age of 11 age in the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, AZ, where she starred
in over 16 performances on stage as well as performing in the theatre's
comedy-improv troupe. Caylee Cowan was also an actor at the Valley Youth
Theatre.
